A Note From Pickett in Response to the Current COVID-19 Outbreak

March 19th, 2020

Safety is our utmost priority here at Pickett and we aim to keep our team members and clients informed as we monitor the COVID-19 pandemic. This is an unprecedented situation for our society, and we need to come together as one in supporting each other and our communities. Our goal is to keep the public, our clients and our team members healthy and safe while also minimizing the disruptions to our day-to-day operations.

Our team members have been given the opportunity to telecommute in order to combat the spread of the virus. We are committed to ensuring that we remain fully operational during this time. All Pickett team members are required to stay home if they are experiencing any symptoms or may have been exposed to the virus. As the situation progresses, we will make every effort to ensure that the impact of the virus will not affect our obligations towards our clients and the communities they serve.

Effective last week, we communicated that business travel is discontinued until further notice, and no team member is required to travel.  Team members are instructed to use telephone and video conferencing as much as possible during this outbreak.

We feel fortunate to work with a team of people who show every day that they can handle just about anything that comes their way at work. By making informed decisions and keeping with our core values of lasting relationships and valued teamwork, we are confident we can navigate through this complex time. We remain dedicated to the safety and health of our team, our clients and our communities.

As always, be safe, stay healthy, and feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns.
