Connecticut River Valley FERC Permitting

Pickett provided aerial LiDAR and Digital Imagery covering 260 miles of the Connecticut River throughout MA, VT, and NH. This project was planned to guarantee that all possible flood stages were covered so that a thorough floodplain and environmental analysis could be performed. Using the Optech M-300 Sensor and CS-10000 Digital Camera, Pickett captured and processed 3-4pts/m2 and 8cm GSD resolution color imagery. This amount of point density and coverage allowed for a timely capture to meet budgetary limitations, while still providing a 3D topographic map in order to perform the risk analysis for FERC permitting.

Pickett has demonstrated the ability to conduct their survey operations for optimal safety, health, environmental and security standards and have delivered the highest quality survey products within our time sensitive deadlines.
