The world’s leading producer of concentrated phosphate and potash crop nutrients had a vision to take a previously reclaimed mine site and develop a premier resort with amenities such as world class golf courses, sporting clays, fishing, fine dining, spas and more. Pickett provided the surveying and aerial mapping services in preparation of design and construction of the site.
Initially our survey and aerial mapping departments worked in conjunction providing ground control, aerial photography acquisition, topographic mapping and orthorectified imagery of the site. During the course of design and construction, our survey crews provided numerous services including boundary surveys; update topographic surveys; construction staking; as-built surveys; and locations of utilities, trees, wetlands, etc.
In all, Pickett assisted in the design and construction of two golf courses and clubhouse, sporting clays facility, the main lodge, utilities supplies and stations and site features such as lakes and major landscaping.
