OptechGALAXY
Established more than 50 years ago, Pickett was one of the first land survey firms to integrate aerial mapping with flight operations into our offering of services. In keeping with our mindset of embracing new technology that meets the stringent requirements of accuracy and excellent workmanship, we have migrated entirely from traditional aerial film to aerial LiDAR and digital image acquisition.

Teledyne-Optech-News-Release-Pickett-20160509In researching sensors that had the range and accuracy to scan corridors such as transmission lines or roadways, and also for mapping significant acreage or many square miles, Pickett became the first firm to possess the Optech Orion M-300 in 2012.

Pickett is now proud to announce the acquisition of Optech’s most advanced, and more versatile LiDAR sensor, the Optech Galaxy.
